In this pivotal role, you will deliver compassionate and timely care to patients, guiding them through their medical needs with clarity and support. Collaborating closely with our team, your focus will be on ensuring that each patient receives exemplary care, whether they require immediate assistance or have general health inquiries.

Work Schedule Options
- Full-time: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM PST / 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM EST (4x10 hour shifts, 3-week rotation, 1 weekend required per rotation)
- Part-time overnight: 20 hours per week, between 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM PST / 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST (2-week rotation, 1 weekend required per rotation)
- Training: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST (2 weeks, applicable for both full-time and part-time positions)

In this pivotal role, you will deliver compassionate and timely care to patients, guiding them through their medical needs with clarity and support. Collaborating closely with our team, your focus will be on ensuring that each patient receives exemplary care, whether they require immediate assistance or have general health inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional response to patient calls, establishing a connection while ensuring adherence to standardized care protocols.
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of symptoms to determine the necessary level of care and make appropriate referrals based on established guidelines.
- Clearly communicate care recommendations in an accessible manner, empowering patients to understand their options and next steps.
- Offer ongoing support by guiding patients to internal and external resources, including benefits and community services, as required.
- Assist with urgent prescription requests and escalate emergency situations when necessary.
- Engage in team meetings, contributing insights for continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care and overall service delivery.
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
- Licensure: Active RN licensure in a compact state; must have the ability to obtain licensure in all 50 states.
- Minimum of 2 years in a triage setting (phone triage experience preferred) or 2+ years in an emergency room, or 4+ years in an ambulatory primary care role with triage responsibilities.
- Exceptional clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities, particularly in ambiguous situations.
- Strong engagement skills with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, capable of gathering clinical history and summarizing findings effectively.
- Familiarity with various computer and medical record systems, including Google Suite.
- Ability to deliver efficient care while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, with a professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
