What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as a liaison for patients, families, and providers with a focus on superior customer service
• Manage complex telephone calls and triage information to resolve issues or escalate as needed
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate multiple visits, tests, and procedures
• Communicate necessary information to patients regarding appointments and pre-procedure requirements
• Provide support to healthcare providers in managing administrative patient issues
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Secretarial Certificate Program desirable
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience in a hospital setting or medical environment
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with hospital systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
