We are currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead visual merchandising initiatives across the Americas. This pivotal role will involve developing cutting-edge retail concepts and designs that make a significant impact at points of sale, while collaborating with diverse teams to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the brainstorming, design, presentation, and execution of unique retail experiences that resonate with our brand narrative.
- Investigate and advocate for new technologies, vendors, and design innovations to elevate consumer engagement.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring collaboration with stakeholders to realize creative visions while meticulously managing project complexities.
- Act as the primary liaison for visual merchandising, working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and retailers to ensure timely and high-quality strategy execution.
- Formulate visual merchandising best practices and compelling design solutions suited for the Americas, while adapting global brand guidelines.
- Maintain exceptional standards of quality and consistency in all visual merchandising endeavors.
- Supervise the visual merchandising budget for the Americas, ensuring precise reporting and tracking.
- Manage projects including annual planning, store fittings, product launches, and merchandising strategies across all locations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the makeup industry is required.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3D Max) is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial management capabilities, proficient in budget oversight and identifying cost efficiencies.
- Familiarity with production processes for physical projects, including materials, manufacturing, and installation.
- Insight into the competitive landscape, technological advancements, and industry trends.
- An aptitude for challenging conventional practices and introducing innovative ideas in visual merchandising.
- A collaborative team player, skilled at building strong relationships and fostering a supportive working environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, complemented by proficient project management skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects within a demanding pace is essential.
