Status: Full-time (depending on situation, Part-time or Fractional hours available)

Duration: Equivalent to a minimum of 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)

Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago only)

Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour)

About The Job

Vosyn seeks a Sustainable Finance & Impact Investment Intern passionate about responsible investing, impact finance, and sustainable finance practices. This role focuses on supporting our Responsible Investing Pod within the ESG team. You’ll help by leveraging Vosyn’s sustainable development goals, responsible AI frameworks, and innovative positioning in the AI industry to position the company for future growth and attract investors who share our vision for a better future.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze ESG funding opportunities in Canada and globally, including impact investors, sustainable finance grants, and responsible investment channels.
• Engage with potential ESG-conscious investors, developing and maintaining strong communication channels.
• Create presentations and reports highlighting Vosyn’s ESG initiatives, SDG-aligned use cases, and market positioning as a responsible AI innovator.
• Collaborate with the Strategy and Reporting pods to communicate Vosyn’s transformational impact effectively to investors.
• Track ESG funding trends, regulatory developments in sustainable finance, and opportunities within the Canadian market.
• Assist in managing investor relations, supporting the planning and execution of funding rounds, and ensuring that Vosyn’s messaging aligns with ESG standards and investor expectations.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree (in progress or recently completed) in Business (MBA), Finance, Public Policy, or a related field, with a focus on impact investing or sustainable finance.
• Understanding of sustainable finance principles, ESG reporting standards (GRI, SASB), and impact investment frameworks.
• Practical experience in impact investing, demonstrating a track record of identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that generate positive social or environmental impact alongside financial returns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, data-backed ESG narratives tailored to investors.
• A strong ability to interpret sustainable finance trends and investor expectations within Canada’s regulatory landscape.
• Comfortable in building and maintaining relationships with ESG investors and finance partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and work collaboratively across virtual teams.
• Self-directed and highly motivated, with an eagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully to our ESG journey.
