Your Role: Z-Business Development Representative (BDR)
Role in Our Organization: As a BDR at EZ Edits, you’ll be at the forefront of generating new business opportunities, maintaining our CRM, and conducting cold outreach to prospective clients. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential leads, responsible for booking discovery calls and ultimately driving revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
Your compensation will be commission-only, based on OTE [On Target earning]. Qualification Criteria: The lead must be deemed qualified after the discovery call is completed.

Your Role: Z-Business Development Representative (BDR)

You’ll be the first point of contact with potential leads, responsible for booking discovery calls and ultimately driving revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- CRM Management: Maintain and update our CRM (Hubspot & GoHighLevel) to keep records and the sales pipeline accurate.
- Cold Outreach: Conduct cold calling, emailing, SMS, and social media outreach using your personal phone and social media accounts (Reimbursement available for USA long-distance calls).
- Lead Sourcing: Create and source lead lists that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for potential clients (Reimbursable depending on cost).
- Discovery Calls: Schedule and book discovery calls with our Account Executive, ensuring all lead details are communicated beforehand.
- Personal Engagement Tools: Comfortably use your personal phone and social media to reach out to prospects.
- Keep the CRM Updated: Ensure CRM records are always clean and up to date for smooth pipeline operations.
- Fearless Cold Outreacher: You must be comfortable conducting cold outreach across multiple platforms (calls, emails, social media).
- Honesty & Integrity: We value authenticity, so no pushy sales tactics.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in both Hubspot and GoHighLevel CRM systems.
- Continuous Learner: Always learning and improving your sales skills to stay sharp.
- Casual Communication: Be more casual than corporate, as you’ll be reaching out to YouTubers, not corporations.
- 1 Year of Business Development Experience: You should have at least one year of experience in a similar role to understand the nuances of lead generation and business development.
- YouTube Dynamics: A basic understanding of YouTube and its success dynamics is key to crafting outreach strategies that resonate with potential clients.
- 50 Documented Reach Outs Daily: You’ll need to engage with 50 prospects per day across all channels.
- 10 Discovery Calls Booked Weekly: Schedule at least 10 discovery calls with qualified leads each week.
- Client Acquisition: Contribute to closing 8-12 clients per month.
- CRM Hygiene: Keep all CRM records tidy and updated regularly.

- Submission Confirmation:
- Upon submitting your assessment, our team will confirm receipt and record it in our system for review.
- Assessment Review:
- Your submission will be evaluated by the Department Manager or Team Lead. The review process will begin two days after submission to ensure a thorough evaluation of your performance.
- Scoring and Feedback:
- Your assessment will be scored based on adherence to instructions, creativity, communication skills, and professionalism. To advance to the next phase of the hiring process, your score must meet or exceed 8/10.
- Interview Invitation:
- If you successfully pass the assessment review, you will be invited to the next phase of the interview process, where you may be asked to discuss your project in further detail.
- 15-Minute Intro Call – Chat with our HR team to get to know you better.
- 30 min - Interview with Direct Reports x Dept Managers
- In-Depth CEO Interview – Dive deeper into the role and EZ Edits’ culture.
- Rejection Notification:
- If your submission does not meet the required score, you will receive a rejection email, detailing the decision and providing feedback where applicable.
- Final Decision and Onboarding:
- Candidates who pass all stages of the hiring process will be onboarded. The HR Manager will guide you through the next steps, including onboarding and orientation.
- Location: You must be based in Canada to align with our regional operations.
