As the Program Management Manager on the YouTube Marketing team, you are primarily responsible for overseeing, managing and evaluating the effectiveness of a set of Program Managers who support activation efforts for YouTube.

You will be responsible for leading a team of project managers who coordinate projects across Governance, Go-to-Market and in-house products to help drive the success of YouTube's marketing efforts. Day to day, you will work with YouTube Product Marketing Managers, GOC Media Managers and leadership teams across various Google organizations. You will be responsible to help your team shape new and rigorous processes that will grow into meaningful improvements for our YouTube activation efforts.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of program managers supporting the YouTube activation workflow and help them shape new and innovative processes that make the life of marketers easier
  • Ensure transparency of operations and ongoing projects to the YouTube team through WBRs, MBRs, and QBRs
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure swift and reliable resolution of open issues
  • Break down complex stakeholder requests to a simple set of instructions for the team to implement. Oversee progress of such requests and escalate when necessary
  • Experience working within a strong project management environment
  • Drive process improvement opportunities, and influence stakeholders for successful implementation
  • Provide effective coordination with other departments in the analysis and resolution of issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing space with a focus on email/video
  • Excellent verbal and written english language skills
  • Experience presenting operations/project reports to executive audiences
  • Experience managing an agile team of project managers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a global workflow environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be customer-oriented in handling communications and issues
  • Experience running complex teams
  • Experience working with Email Management systems like Hubspot or Marketo
