Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Change Management Professional to work on a 1-year contract for one of BC's largest utility and energy companies.

Location: Remote, Canada | Candidates must be able to work PST core hours (9am-3pm)

Overview: The successful candidate will provide change management leadership on multiple Technology projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, multi-year projects and programs with labour relations impact by conducting current state and future state needs assessments across multiple disciplines to support the organization through change.
  • Develop, deliver, and customize change management activities such as stakeholder engagement, training, and communications by collaborating with multiple stakeholders for the successful adoption of highly complex change programs.
  • Establish change strategies and tactics for process, technical, and system changes by using expert knowledge of change management techniques for large complex environments to support people through change.
  • Deliver relevant progress reports with supporting metrics by planning, creating, and facilitating presentations using advanced skills in MS Office to keep multiple stakeholders in the organization informed of project status and change impacts.
  • Analyze stakeholder engagement and develop qualitative reports through the course of the project by using databases, information systems, surveys, and tools to track stakeholder impacts and communications delivered so that change management plans are adjusted as needed.
  • Act as a change management subject matter expert by advising on best practices, models, and standards to develop internal capacity for change leadership

Requirements:

Must haves:

  • A minimum ten (10) years of change management work experience or equivalent
  • Graduate education in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Experience with developing, delivering, and customizing change management activities such as stakeholder engagement, training, and communications by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to adopt highly complex change programs successfully.
  • Experience developing change management deliverables including stakeholder impact assessment, communication & engagement plan, writing communications training plan and training materials.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Nice to haves:

  • PROSCI Certification
