Join Aislelabs as Senior Cloud Engineer, responsible for supporting the business into its next phase of growth (we’re aiming for 100% growth over the next 2-3 years). As a multi-product business supporting hundreds of enterprise customers all over the world, you will work with a diverse team and platform. And we have major rebuild plans for 2024, along with a new global hosting plan to boot.


We are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Engineer to work alongside our highly technical team to extend and architect the evolving Aislelabs platform with the focus on managing cloud workload. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with public clouds, configuration management, container orchestration and related technologies. They will have strong communication skills and be excited to work with a team of highly skilled developers, QA, product managers to build the next generation of our product.

As a global leader in WiFi-based products, we have customers on 4 continents with regional offices in Canada, the UK, India, and Dubai.


Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of industry experience
  • Prior experience building full scale infrastructure-as-code based public cloud deployments
  • Experience with a least two public clouds - AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with cloud native services such as RDS, BigQuery, ElastiCache, etc.
  • Strong understand and experience with Kubernetes and related technologies such as Helm
  • Prior experience working with enterprise scale WiFi meshes is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python
  • Multi-year experience running and hardening linux based systems
  • Some level of experience coding in Java, C# of similar language
  • Proven ability to architect and build complex features and services
  • Practice quality first approach and focusing on automation
  • Desire to work in a team based Agile environment
  • A university degree in Computer Science


Technical Skills

  • AWS/GCP/Azure understanding an experience
  • Container Orchestration
  • Infrastructure-as-code
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise WiFi meshes
