Loan Application Specialist

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Applications Preparer to assist clients in preparing and submitting loan applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the loan application process and excellent communication skills to guide clients through the requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in gathering and organizing necessary documentation for loan applications.
• Review completed applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding loan products and eligibility requirements.
• Collaborate with financial institutions to track the progress of loan applications.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and application statuses.
• Address client inquiries and provide updates throughout the application process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Stay informed about changes in lending policies and industry trends.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in finance or a related field is an asset.
• Previous experience in loan processing, finance, or customer service preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian lending practices and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
