FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Environmental Project Manager
Progressive, fast-paced, expanding environmental company with an immediate opening for a Project Manager with 5 years of experience with USACE projects. Candidates should have experience with a range of project types and sizes, including all work phases from investigation through remediation. Experience with CERCLA and RCRA projects is required. Knowledge of project and task management is a must. We are seeking a motivated candidate who puts safety, quality, and professionalism first. Candidate will be responsible for the scope, schedule, and budget on all assigned projects.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with junior and senior level staff on projects varying in size and complexity. Primary responsibilities will include implementation and management of technical and administrative aspects of environmental remediation projects, as well as customer communication and coordination. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and must be proficient at preparing and presenting technical presentations to senior staff and to customers. Experience with developing and preparing technical reports, schedules, and supporting materials is highly desired.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A BS degree (or higher) with multi-disciplinary technical background
- Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS), Environmental Remediation Services (ERS), experience with an emphasis on Federal Projects
- Knowledge of CERCLA process
- Knowledgeable and proficient in federal statutes and regulations associated technical guidance documents, regulatory timeframes, documentation and reporting requirements
- Experience with remedial investigation and design and implementation of remedial actions
- Strong emphasis on technical writing skills – clear and concise presentation of complex information
- Highly organized with excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills & Abilities:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (P.G.) license, and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working with the Department of Defense and USACE
- Experience with Hazard and Toxic Waste (HTW), PFOS & PFOA as a plus
- Experience with Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) projects a plus
