Full timeESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities (70%)
Directly supervise a team of Online SI Leaders on a daily and weekly basis—online and off-site of the university campus
Edit and post weekly announcements and reminders in each SI Blackboard course shell
- Supervise SI Session Question survey submissions
- Ensure SI Leaders’ professional and appropriate preparation and fulfillment of SI duties through ongoing supervision and evaluations
- Observe at least one SI session (live or recording format) for each SI Leader per week and perform an informal evaluation
- Supervise the recording of SI sessions and manage video uploads to the appropriate playlists
- Manage SI Leader weekly reports, data collection, and PowerPoint submissions
- Keep accurate and timely records of SI Leader performance
- Host live sessions for Faculty SI Leaders in WebEx
- Host the live sessions in the SI Mentor’s personal WebEx room
- Record the live sessions
- Upload, name, and publish the recordings to Kaltura and add them to the appropriate playlists
- Run weekly WebEx reports and collect usage data
- Respond to student emails
- Address student, faculty, and staff inquiries related to the SI courses they oversee
Additional responsibilities (30%)
Keep accurate and timely records of tutoring sessions
Assist the OTS Director with administrative tasks and projects as needed
- Maintain open communication with supervisors, students, and professors
- Remain abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks
- Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be accepted into, or currently enrolled in a master’s or doctorate program by the start date.
Self-motivated, dependable, and independent worker
- Experienced in leadership
- Capable of following written and verbal directions
- Works well and effectively communicates with students, faculty, and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a formal leadership role
2-4 years of previous office and administrative experience

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information
Ability to understand, speak, and write in English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner
- Possession of public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates

- Excellent computer skills

- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature
Physical and Sensory Abilities
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform tutoring responsibilities and deskwork
- Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally

Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate.
