Our Claims Innovation team is currently seeking a Sr Business Solutions Project Manager to join our expanding team.



This is a full time, exempt role. The role is eligible for a fully remote or hybrid work arrangement.



POSITION OVERVIEW:

Business Solution Project Management professionals combine project management disciplines with process engineering methodologies, financial analysis, business expertise, and industry best practices to collaborate with business leaders with the goal to provide, manage and implement project-based solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, leading the development and refinement of project requirements, estimates, plans, and schedules. This role is responsible for the collection and analysis of business objectives, processes and procedures, and operational data in support of business unit customers.



IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:



  • Create project plans that include resources, time, and technology considerations.

  • Conduct project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project expectations, and ensuring that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively

  • Create and update detailed project plans and schedules, applying best practices, standards, and recommended tools as needed.

  • Provide formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned project team(s), including scheduling, assignment of work and review of project efforts.

  • Proactively assess variances from the project plan, gathering metrics, and developing and implementing changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost and quality objectives.

  • Conduct assessment of the current-state business operations to identify gaps, opportunities, and threats to achieving long-term success.

  • Conduct comparative analysis and research of industry best practices to identify one or more options for reviewing and assessing alternative solutions to business problems.

  • Facilitate design sessions with business partners to derive a future-state solutions

  • Develop and communicate an implementation plan and/or roadmap of future opportunities, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Compile and presents project status reports to business sponsor, management, and project teams.

  • Facilitate change management activities with business sponsor, including communication, training, and implementation planning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field specialized training, or equivalent work experience.

  • Project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification required

  • Typically requires 5 -10 years of project management experience.

  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.

  • Strong process and data analysis experience

  • Management experience preferred
