The Role:


We are looking for a motivated and passionate Operations Director to join our team. The purpose of the Operations Director position is to build and improve the systems and tools the Operations function uses to deliver scalable success for Arine. The core focus of this role is strengthening the end-to-end foundations of Arine's remote Clinical Care team, which is the team that uses the Arine platform to deliver high quality remote clinical outcomes for our health plan customers. The Operations Director delivers these results by partnering with Arine's Lead Clinical Pharmacists to understand the drivers of scalable success in their programs, and to identify and act on opportunities for improving their outcomes and efficiency.


The Operations Director reports to Arine's Head of Operations.


Additional responsibility may include scaling performance in Arine's Implementation and Technical Support teams, as this role spans all of Arine's Operations activities. You will be asked to:



  • Evaluate and improve the system by which Arine's Clinical Care team measures and communicates progress toward project outcomes, evaluates individual performance, and ties these measurements to coaching, incentives and culture

  • Elaborate the system by which Arine's Customers measure progress toward project outcomes and evaluate and understand key inputs to project success

  • Improve the Clinical Care team's practices for launching new projects

  • Support standardization and improvement of Arine's project implementation practices in partnership with Arine's Director of Implementation

  • Support and manage the scaling and improvement of Arine's technical support practices in partnership with Arine's Support Desk Manager, including scaling Arine's process for triaging monitoring and communicating customer requests in accordance with tight SLAs

  • Identify, prioritize, scope and deliver strategic projects to improve ongoing Arine operations in coordination with other key internal stakeholders


Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:



  • A track record of leadership and execution of strategic initiatives in a highly entrepreneurial environment

  • 5-8 years experience with management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic leadership of clinical programs

  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn the approaches of high performing clinical pharmacy programs (applicants with a licensed pharmacist background are welcome and encouraged!)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and communicate and collaborate with executives, Operations, or Technology teams

  • Excellent collaboration, attention to detail, problem solving, business acumen, leadership skills, and investigative skills

  • Robust quantitative and analytical capabilities, including fluency with Excel

  • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions in order to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Eagerness to learn new skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment



Travel and Other Information:



  • For candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area, the ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 2-3 days/week

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package (including bonus and equity), benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The salary range for this position is: $170,000-180,000/year.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:


All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures. Upon hire, each person is assigned and must complete trainings before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.
