Full timeThe Content Marketing Manager will develop and manage RENFROE’s content marketing and other digital marketing strategies. You will create high-quality content, successfully manage digital campaigns independently, and effectively manage agencies/freelancers when necessary. This position will also oversee agencies/freelancers to support creative service needs as necessary.
We are looking for someone with the flexibility to respond to changing market dynamics, customer preferences, and emerging trends, as well as the ability to pivot strategies accordingly. As a strategic Content Marketing Manager, you will be a driving force in shaping the narrative and positioning of our services and innovative products in the digital space, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and playing a pivotal role at the intersection of our legacy Insurance Services and Insurtech growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead holistic cross-channel content strategy, leveraging core positioning, messaging, and materials to plan content development/activation. Lead development of this content and manage distribution across all channels.
- Develop all required content and messaging for Sales Enablement.
- Help drive RENFROE’s social media strategy and oversee its planning, execution, monitoring, and analysis.
- Develop and manage editorial calendar, delegating tasks when necessary and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Lead creation of customer-centric content, including but not limited to blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to influence product messaging and positioning.
- Assist with revenue marketing strategies such as ABM and inbound marketing
- Analyze campaign data and regularly provide reports and insights to stakeholders
- Effectively manage outside creative and design agencies/contractors as needed
Experience
- 7-10+ years direct experience developing and executing multi-channel B2B content marketing strategies in support of revenue marketing and sales enablement needs.
- Experience in a variety of content marketing roles: writer, editor, publisher, strategist
- Experience working with design partners and content management systems
- Creative and analytical problem solver, adept at translating business opportunities into effective content strategies.
- You have experience working with agencies to develop impactful content, including videos, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, infographics and more.
- Experience providing creative direction to designers and copywriters.
- Strong SEO skills including an understanding of fundamental SEO concepts.
- Experience with marketing analytics and a demonstratable ability to distill data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
- 7+ years direct experience developing B2B marketing content across multiple channels.
- Able to write thought leadership content pieces for use in multiple channels and mediums.
- Exceptional writer – able to craft key messages and narratives that combine technical nuance with customer value.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, General Business, or a related field, advanced degree preferred
- Experience with ContentStudio, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar platforms preferred
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot or similar platforms preferred
- Experience managing content in WordPress is necessary
