Kairos Development is looking for a dependable landscaper to care for the properties we manage. You’ll handle regular grounds work, help with outdoor upkeep, and be a friendly presence for the businesses and people at each property. Most work is in the Greenville area, with a few properties in Spartanburg and one in Anderson. We can supply equipment for the work.
Pay And Benefits
This is a salaried position with pay equivalent to $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). We offer a full benefits package including 401k, health and dental insurance, and PTO.
What You’ll Do
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns; trim bushes and shrubs
- Blow sidewalks and parking areas, pull weeds, and maintain landscape beds
- Spread mulch and pine needles and help with seasonal cleanups
- Pick up trash, leaves, and debris so properties look their best
- Pressure wash and handle minor outdoor maintenance and repairs as needed
- Keep tools and landscaping equipment clean and in good working order
- Notice and report property damage or maintenance issues
- Occasionally help supervise and direct outside subcontractors working at the properties
- Help with other property maintenance tasks when needed
- Be friendly and respectful to business owners, tenants, customers, and visitors
- Say hello and be willing to help when appropriate
- Work carefully around active businesses and avoid blocking entrances, parking, or customer access when possible
- Respond politely to questions and pass requests or concerns along to property management
- Represent Kairos professionally while you’re on the property
- Dependable, hardworking, and easy to work with
- Able to work independently and take pride in a job done well
- Someone who notices what needs attention without always being told
- A valid driver’s license
- Comfortable using lawn and landscaping equipment
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 pounds
