Responsible for supporting the presses by mounting plates and staging appropriate die to expedite make-ready.
Essential Job Functions
- Mounts plates in the correct wind and on the appropriate cylinders.
- Ensures each order has the correct press equipment for each station and is segregated and staged, and ensures cages are locked accordingly.
- Assists press operators in troubleshooting plate issues.
- Cleans and files plates after press runs according to standard operating procedures.
- Conducts housekeeping of plate mounting area.
- Follows established standard operating procedures.
- Completes required documentation for each order.
- Reviews cylinders and gears for damage.
- Cleans general common areas as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Must be flexible and willing to work overtime.
- Must have basic computer skills or be trainable.
- Must have good mathematical skills.
- Must have good written and communications skills.
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Must be able to manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work well in a team.
