The Area Sales Coordinator establishes, develops, and nurtures business relationships with current and prospective customers within their assigned territory. As an Area Sales Coordinator, you will be directly responsible for building dealer consignment, increasing buyer attendance and hitting sales targets.

This exciting position is based in the Greater Saskatoon area.
What You Will Do
- Use a relationship-based approach to assist customers through their auction needs, demonstrating how auto services can reduce their costs and enhance their business.
- Complete vehicle condition reports at our customers’ dealerships, correctly identifying any damage on the interior and exterior of the vehicles as well as noting any missing components and/or mechanical issues present.
- Conduct walk-around inspections and take multiple photos of each vehicle to capture damage and help provide a clear assessment of the overall condition of the car.
- Prepare support documentation related to vehicle condition including vehicle identification data, condition description, photographs, etc.
- This is a field-based position; spending most of your time making local customer site visits.
- Overnight travel within their assigned geographic territory may be required up to 5% of the time.
- Knowledge of engine performance, transmission operation, brakes and driving issues.
- Maintain current knowledge, and adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding inspections/documentation.
- Follow all applicable safety and health-related procedures.
- Exposure to engine noises, trans shifting, and differential noise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of progressive customer-focused/relationship-based sales experience.
- Previous auto auction experience, automotive body and mechanical work preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities is a must.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Computer Skills: Basic PC skills, Typing/Data Entry, Internet, and MS Office.
