Job description:
We are seeking General Labourers to join our client a manufacturing company in North York for an day and afternoon shift. This role involves lifting, stacking, and part selection for furniture making. The ideal candidate will possess a manufacturing background. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision manufacturing and assembly processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, machining and other fabrication tasks as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support manufacturing processes
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
This is an immediate requirement from our client.
Shift time 3:30pm 12:30am 7am to 3:30pm
Pay is $18.85 per hour plus shift premium
