JMI Sports is seeking a talented and driven candidate to join the athletics multimedia rights representation team on the UK NIL team, representing the University of Kentucky. This role is responsible for successfully coordinating Name, Image, and Likeness (“NIL”) opportunities to drive sponsorship dollars to University of Kentucky student athletes. The successful candidate is extremely organized, highly motivated, creative, interested in and capable of coordinating between multiple stakeholders, and very comfortable in a fast-paced, environment. An integral position responsible for managing complex priorities, this hire will work closely with local property staff and partners, as well as JMI Sports corporate leadership as part of a “do what it takes” commitment to the Athletic Department. We strive to exceed expectations in everyday operations and contractual fulfillments.
This in-person, full-time position is based in Lexington, KY. Remote work will not be considered. Occasional travel will be required.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a project manager assisting in the contracting, execution, and operations of NIL activities ensuring timely delivery of all partner and student-athlete obligations
- Develop and foster relationships with key NIL stakeholders including Athletic Department staff, JMIS’s UK Sports and Campus Marketing team, athletes, brands and agencies
- Serve as a liaison for high-value NIL relationships, providing proactive communication and strategic support
- Identify, develop and implement creative activations and campaigns that maximize partner ROI, enhance the student-athlete experience, and generate revenue
- Assist in the execution of events created to drive NIL revenue, ensuring alignment across partners, student-athletes, and university stakeholders
- Track and report on NIL activity, ensuring accurate fulfillment and measurement of partnership performance
- Follow Company best practices and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency as NIL grows, create accurate recordkeeping, consistent contracts, and measurable implementation of deliverables
- Actively promote NIL opportunities in the marketplace to be sold by the UK Sports & Campus Marketing team
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within NIL process operations and recommend improvements
- Contribute innovative and impactful thoughts or actions to boost revenues for the property and the Company; and other duties as assigned
- Perform additional projects and assignments as needed to ensure successful NIL strategy;

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in sports marketing and/or sales, or a related field
- Interest in, and working understanding of, college athletics
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional written and oral communication across all levels
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct
- Resourceful and self-directed problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Analytical ability for reporting and compliance tracking
