Pallet Maker
Location: Stoney Creek, ON
Shift: 12 Hour Rotating
Pay: $25 per hour starting wage
Employment Type: Full Time
Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Pallet maker to join our production team.
What you will do:
- Construct skids and pallets for finished steel products according to customer requirements.
- Maintain an adequate supply of lumber, skids, and packaging materials for upcoming production.
- Inspect completed skids to ensure they are defect-free and suitable for packaging.
- Assist with product storage and maintain knowledge of plant layout.
- Work collaboratively with production personnel to support daily operations.
- Assist on the 72" Voss Cut-to-Length Line as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Shift Foreman.At all times, adhere to Taylor's Steel safety and personal protective equipment policies
What we are looking for:
Required:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Hands-on Mechanical ability
- Previous manufacturing and/or industrial packager experience
- Experience in the steel sector
