Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to support a multifamily residential project currently in the Construction Documents (CD) phase. The project was inherited from a previous architect, and we are looking for a highly skilled professional who can quickly assess existing drawings, identify and correct documentation issues, and help advance the project with minimal supervision.

This is a production-focused role ideal for someone with a strong architectural drafting background, advanced AutoCAD expertise, and direct experience working on multifamily, townhouse, or multi-unit residential developments. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable stepping into an active project to improve drawing quality and maintain project momentum.

Work Environment

  • 100% Remote
  • Standard business hours preferred
  • Flexible scheduling may be considered, provided project deadlines and workload expectations are met
  • Full-time availability required through August, with the potential for extension into September

Equipment Requirements

  • Must provide your own computer/workstation
  • Must have an active AutoCAD license
  • Client may have an available license, but availability is still being confirmed

Responsibilities

  • Perform architectural drafting and production work using AutoCAD
  • Review, revise, and clean up existing drawing sets
  • Identify and resolve drafting inconsistencies and documentation issues
  • Support the development and advancement of Construction Documents (CDs)
  • Ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency across project documentation
  • Work independently with limited direction and oversight
  • Collaborate remotely with the project team through Dropbox file sharing and other communication platforms
  • Assist in moving the project efficiently toward completion while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

Must Have

  • 7+ years of architectural drafting experience
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with multifamily, townhouse, or multi-unit residential projects
  • Experience working in the Construction Documents (CD) phase
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience stepping into existing projects and correcting inherited documentation
  • Available to start immediately
  • Available to work full-time through August (with potential extension into September)
  • Own laptop/workstation and access to an AutoCAD license

Nice to Have

  • Experience reviewing and correcting drawing sets developed by other architects or consultants
  • Strong understanding of residential building documentation standards and coordination
  • Experience working in a fully remote project environment
  • Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing and collaboration platforms such as Dropbox
  • Ability to quickly identify drawing inefficiencies and implement drafting best practices

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
