POSITION DESCRIPTION
Pedal Pub Pilots guide two-hour tours that showcase Calgary’s best breweries, bars, and restaurants. Celebrate birthday parties, bachelorette parties, corporate parties, CD release parties, retirement parties, bar mitzvahs, team outings, and more. Pilots bring their flair to create the best experience possible – it’s their domain to maximize the memorable event for Pedal Pub guests.
Standard operations are Wednesday through Sunday; busiest times are evenings and weekends – availability through those times is crucial. Great for bartenders, servers, baristas, actors, artists, students, comics, fitness trainers, musicians, photographers, and folks looking for a fun, seasonal role!
Responsibilities
- Entertain guests while safely navigating predetermined routes
- Narrate tours and provide your hyper-local insights to guests aged 18-88
- Ensure bikes are always safe, clean, and properly maintained
- Assist with maintenance, cleaning, and opening/closing of the facility
- Follow operational policies and procedures
- Snap group pics!
- Upbeat and engaging
- Responsible and safety-conscious
- Punctual and extremely reliable
- Available on nights, weekends, and holidays from May through September
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Alberta driver’s licence
- Clean motor vehicle driving record and criminal record check
