The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Your Role
- Prepare design, tender, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Develop surface models, profiles, cross-sections, site plans, drainage layouts, and construction details.
- Complete digital terrain modeling, volume calculations, and quantity takeoffs.
- Prepare report figures, drawing sets, and other technical deliverables.
- Support engineers and project teams with drafting and technical assistance.
- Help ensure deliverables meet project deadlines, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and drafting staff across multiple projects.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized technical program.
- 5 years of experience in civil drafting or design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to quality work.
- Experience with airport or similar linear infrastructure projects considered an asset.
- Familiarity with GIS or ProjectWise considered an asset.
- Strong sense of drawing presentation, visual clarity and accuracy considered an asset.
- Interest in continuing to develop your technical skills considered an asset.
