About the Role

The Virtual Event & Occasion Planner assists clients in planning vacations, cruises, and special travel experiences. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, researching travel options, coordinating bookings, and guiding clients throughout the planning process to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Guide clients through travel planning, answering questions and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service throughout the booking process.
  • Resolve booking inquiries and provide timely follow-up support.

Travel Planning & Coordination

  • Assist clients with booking cruises, resorts, flights, vacation packages, and special travel experiences.
  • Research destinations, accommodations, travel deals, and itineraries based on client preferences.
  • Review travel itineraries, payment schedules, and required travel documentation.
  • Ensure bookings are completed accurately and efficiently.

Organization & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.
  • Utilize travel booking platforms and customer relationship management tools.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure all travel arrangements meet client expectations.
  • Keep communication organized and consistent throughout each client's journey.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Stay informed about travel destinations, industry trends, and promotional offers.
  • Learn new booking systems and customer service best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and travel-focused team culture.

Qualifications

Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software.
