Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is seeking a skilled and solution-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our technology team in Toronto. This role is ideal for an IT professional who is passionate about providing technical support, maintaining secure IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting employees and enhancing overall business productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly to minimize business downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and system reliability.
  • Manage user accounts, email systems, passwords, and access permissions.
  • Perform regular software updates, system backups, and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories, licenses, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in implementing new hardware, software, and technology solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for advanced technical support when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices, data backup solutions, and endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and enterprise IT environments is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
