We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator (Actuator Assembly) to join our manufacturing team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and quality-checking actuator components with precision and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced production environment where your attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.
- Assemble actuator components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Operate assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments to ensure components meet specifications
- Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or assembled units
- Maintain organized work stations and ensure proper storage of parts and materials
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
- Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate problems to supervisory staff
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
- Proven experience in assembly operations or mechanical manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality control equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and zero-defect standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to workplace safety compliance
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production setting
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes
- Preferred: Experience with actuator systems or similar mechanical assemblies
