The Business Intelligence team plays a central role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a Senior Data Analyst on the BI team, you will own advanced reporting and analysis for multiple internal stakeholders, driving strategic planning and operational insights across the Advertising Technologies department.

This role is based in Canada. StackAdapt operates with a remote-first culture.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design and maintain advanced reporting solutions and dashboards that support stakeholder decision-making across multiple teams and business segments
  • Lead end-to-end data analysis projects, defining technical requirements for ETL processes and data models
  • Develop customized KPIs and metrics that quantify business performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing validation frameworks and best practices across the BI team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on reporting needs, probe assumptions, and communicate findings clearly at all levels
  • Own and deliver a portfolio of recurring and ad-hoc stakeholder reports with minimal supervision
  • Build or optimize at least two automated reporting workflows using available tools (including AI tools such as Claude or Gemini)
  • Establish strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across the Advertising Technologies department
  • Document data definitions, reporting procedures, and ETL logic to reduce knowledge concentration risk
  • Participate actively in sprint planning and backlog prioritization for the BI team
  • Leverage AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and draft documentation
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with a strong track record of delivering advanced reporting for multiple stakeholder teams
  • Advanced SQL skills; ability to define ETL requirements and work with complex, heterogeneous datasets
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) and building client-facing or executive-ready dashboards
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting data-driven findings to senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to identify data quality root causes and implement systematic solutions

The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.Factors Influencing Final Compensation:The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.

Ontario Salary Band: $100,000 CAD - $118,500 CAD
