Position Responsibilities:
Agile Delivery & Project Management
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Track and report project progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics.
- Remove impediments and enable teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to align priorities.
- Manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts across teams.
- Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting.
- Coordinate AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and automation initiatives across business and technology teams.
- Support AI use case identification, prioritization, and implementation planning.
- Track AI program milestones, dependencies, and adoption metrics.
- Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and business objectives.
- Work closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams.
- Partner with C-Level executives, business unit heads, and senior leadership teams.
- Prepare executive dashboards, governance reports, and steering committee presentations.
- Facilitate governance meetings and drive action item closures.
- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards.
- Monitor budget utilization, resource allocation, and project health.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall experience in Project Management and as Scrum Master
- Strong Scrum Master experience in Agile environments.
- Proven project/program management experience.
- Exceptional stakeholder and executive management skills.
- Experience working with technology delivery teams, architects, and engineering leaders.
- Understanding of AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and Automation initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in risk management, dependency tracking, and governance.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery workflows.
- Understanding of data engineering, analytics platforms, and AI/ML-enabled solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, microservices architecture, and complex technology ecosystems.
- Proficiency with project delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, or Agile Project Management Certification.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $115,000 CAD/ year
The final compensation offered will depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and education/training. Compensation may also include additional components such as benefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
