This posting will be used to fill one permanent full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

Your role
The Income Support Unit is looking for motivated, collaborative Social Workers who are committed to providing supports to clients who require assistance in the areas of income support, employment, and crisis management.
These positions provide case management and coordination services, social assistance, employment supports and disability-related supports with the goal of increasing independence and inclusion in the community. Other responsibilities may include participating in the development and implementation of branch services, and providing liaison and resource assistance to professionals, paraprofessionals, and the general public.

Essential qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. - Bachelor’s degree in social work
- Recent experience developing and implementing case plans collaboratively with clients
- Recent experience in social services working directly with complex clients

Conditions of employment
You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.
- Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence or equivalent
- A copy of Bachelor of Social Work degree
