Responsibilities
- Coordinate assignment of client service staff to client engagements based on availability, billable targets, skill sets, and project requirements
- Maintain real-time visibility of staffing pipelines, engagement schedules, and future resource needs
- Maintain accurate resource data in professional services automation (PSA) or project management systems
- Update and manage skills inventories, certifications, and practice-specific capability databases
- Serve as a centralized point of contact for staffing requests from engagement managers and partners
- Flag resource conflicts, overallocations, and underutilization, and recommend viable staffing solutions
- Assist in forecasting demand and capacity across practices and service lines
- Monitor and report on staff utilization, billability, and workload distribution to support staffing decisions and operational planning
- Ensure teams accurately track time and align with firm standards for timekeeping and billing
- Communicate changes in project timelines, staffing shifts, and employee availability
- Collaborate with Human Capital and Talent teams on onboarding schedules, skill updates, and staffing readiness for new hires
- Support continuous improvement of staffing processes, tools, and governance frameworks
- Contribute to the development of standardized resource planning policies and best practices across the firm
- Assist with compliance activities including audit preparation and quality checks on time-reporting
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
- Experience in a professional service, consulting, or project-based environment preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience is an asset
- Strong proficiency in excel, project management tools or reporting tool skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication, collaboration and ability to influence at various levels of the organization
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Takes initiative, demonstrates flexibility and is a team player
- Written and verbal English language skills, with French is considered an asset

The annual salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $70,000.
