Job Summary – The Steward is responsible for providing quality support to ensure an exceptional dining experience for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi employees. The responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of the Blues Café kitchen, preparation, and dining areas, equipment, dishes, and utensils in accordance with State and Local Laws. The Steward functions as a team player and key support position and provides prompt, courteous service that exemplifies the Company’s commitment to Health & Wellness and Excellence.
Job-Specific Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in food service industry required.
- Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be able to follow instruction.
- Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
