About The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Administrator and the broader team. You will be the first point of contact for many residents, families, and guests, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, warmth, and respect.

Your responsibilities will include managing office processes, coordinating communications, and supporting financial and reporting functions. You will also assist with resident inquiries, tours for prospective residents, and general office coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Through your attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you help maintain accurate records and ensure administrative processes run efficiently. Your ability to build positive relationships contributes to a supportive and inclusive community where residents feel valued and respected.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support including document preparation, filing, and record management
  • Manage reception duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, invoices, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate meetings, bookings, and office logistics
  • Support accounts payable processing and administrative reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all records and financial documentation
  • Assist with tours for prospective residents and families
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Participate in team meetings and community activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business Administration considered an asset
  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer service role preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams; PowerPoint considered an asset)
  • Comfortable using standard office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience working with seniors or in a community setting is an asset

Compensation And Benefits   

  • We provide a competitive compensation package with an hourly wage of $25.00 - $29.00
  • Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions
