Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Global Partnerships (Partnership Marketing), the incumbent will be the lead on several partnership accounts. The Account Manager, Global Partnerships will provide exceptional client service, generate powerful marketing activations, and enable the broader revenue team to create synergistic marketing programs that deliver on partner objectives.

Key Responsbilities

  • Lead management of key client relationships; execution of partner contract deliverables, including co-branded season-long partnership promotions, postseason gameday activities and in-game assets, digital content, and hospitality
  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives that deliver on partner objectives
  • Work within budget parameters, engaging and working alongside 3rd party vendors
  • Co-lead and support the execution of VIP partner events throughout the year
  • Co-lead the coordination of onsite activations during CFL postseason and Grey Cup, working with league partners, CFL Member Clubs, and vendors
  • Work with CFL team representatives to deliver assets and sponsor programs, i.e. digital activations as well as traditional media execution through signage, regular season tickets, etc.
  • Track partner campaigns, and collect data required to build and present in-season updates and postseason reports to partners
  • Work with the Brand/Events group to ensure effective fulfillment of post-season in-stadium execution for all assigned accounts
  • Support business development group in prospecting, renewals and new business initiatives
  • Liaise with suppliers/contractors on all sponsor-related programs and initiatives, i.e. website, signage, promotional trips, hotel needs, tickets, merchandise, player, alumni and Grey Cup trophy appearances
  • Lead CFL partner hospitality and ticket needs tracking, working in collaboration with internal departments to manage risk

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of account management experience.
  • Experience in the sports and entertainment industry or within an agency is a strong asset.
  • Takes initiative and works effectively both independently and as a part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
  • Highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, which includes base pay plus bonuses and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position and should serve simply as a guide. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as candidate experience, skills, budget, location.

Other Considerations

Hybrid Model: The incumbent will be required to attend the office in accordance with the CFL Hybrid Work Policy. In addition, you are required to attend meetings and other business events at the office or other venues as business needs dictate.

Work Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, the incumbent must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.

Travel: As required.
