Responsibilities
- Manually unloading route trucks with cartons/pallets of product
- Unloading returned cartons/materials from route truck
- Stacking and organizing product from trucks
- Maintaining proper housekeeping standards in work areas
- Perform all job functions in the warehouse areas at established standard efficiency levels.
- Fill any downtime with light facility maintenance, cleaning, audit compliance, and other tasks as needed.
- Adjusting schedule to various delivery times
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge working within a warehouse environment.
- Preference to candidates with Grade 12 education
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 8-12 hours a day.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
- Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
