The Position
As a result of recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our Vehicle Processing Team, at our brand new facility in Wishart.
As a Yard Hand, you will enjoy a variety of tasks in preparing new vehicles for delivery. This may include fitting aftermarket accessories, checking vehicles for damage, completing storage preservation activities, washing cars and other general yard duties. What You Will Do
- Inspection of vehicles to identify damage and missing parts or accessories
- Fit automotive accessories
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Undertake vehicle survey and preservation tasks
- Washing cars
- Complete associated documentation
- Driver license (min. 3 years) essential
- Ability to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc.)
- Strong interest in the automotive industry
- Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Able to follow instructions and take direction effectively
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Multiskilled and adaptable to a variety of tasks
- Experienced in vehicle washing and presentation
- Quick thinker with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Capable of working in all weather conditions while maintaining high standards
- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous
- Current MSIC card
- Understand working of parts and components
- Experience in the use of hand and power tools
