About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in the insurance domain to support data-driven initiatives across complex, enterprise-scale environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders to analyze, curate, and deliver high-quality data solutions that enable informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will include contributing to data integration, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives, leveraging modern cloud platforms and best practices in data management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance concepts, especially underwriting, and possess hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and SQL analysis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data programs, supporting strategic initiatives in a regulated industry and contributing to the organization’s data maturity and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of the insurance domain, including underwriting concepts
- Experience working with Global IQX and integrating with third-party platforms such as Salesforce
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis, validation, and issue resolution
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional data models, and analytics-ready data structures
- Experience delivering comprehensive data documentation within large and complex organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at multiple levels
- Analyze, validate, and interpret complex datasets to support business and technology decisions
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and understand end-to-end data requirements, from ingestion through curation
- Perform hands-on data profiling and develop SQL queries to analyze and validate data quality
- Support master data management, data integration, and data warehousing or data lake initiatives
- Provide insights and recommendations to data modelers based on business and analytical needs
- Develop and maintain high-quality data documentation artifacts within project timelines
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to analytics solutions in large-scale, data-centric environments, including Big Data platforms
