POSITION OVERVIEW: The NBPA Foundation is seeking a personable and highly motivated intern to support our team with day-to-day operations and special projects. This internship is ideal for someone looking to launch their career in sports philanthropy while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit research, grant making, and player support services.

Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized system for tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks and projects
- Collect, compile, and update data and information pertaining to players and their philanthropic endeavors
- Support research on the philanthropic engagement of NBA players with organizations and causes, including their roles as ambassadors, spokespeople, advocates, and funders—even if they occur outside of grant programs
- Conduct social media research and assist in developing communications content for multiple audiences
- Assist with other special projects and duties as assigned
- Undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Graduate student
- Experience with Microsoft suite programs and CRMs (Salesforce, preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and able to move projects forward without daily contact with team members
- Curiosity and interest in social impact issues
