An established nonprofit services organization in Washington, D.C. is seeking an Executive Assistant in Washington, DC. This role provides high-level administrative and operational support in a fast-paced environment while helping ensure smooth coordination, communication, and organization across executive priorities.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (two days onsite, three days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and provide day-to-day gatekeeping support
- Coordinate meeting logistics, follow-ups, and tracking of action items and accountabilities
- Arrange primarily domestic travel and support related itinerary planning
- Process executive expenses, department invoices, and budget-related data entry and reporting
- Handle correspondence, document management, contract tracking, and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a C-level executive
- Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and work with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting multiple executives
- Familiarity with contract administration and budget tracking
- Experience coordinating reports, research, and executive-level communications
