What you will do…
- Work closely with the CEO and VP, Editorial Director to coordinate and manage calendars and travel in a high quality manner, interfacing with the internal team, external parties, and vendors
- Develop, format, and proofread a variety of materials, including agendas, memos, project plans, presentations, and documents for special projects.
- Build and maintain various trackers, reports, databases, and other administrative items
- Over time, learn to prioritize meetings, scope length, vet agendas and make sure appropriate information is provided ahead of time.
- Build strong relationships with the company’s leadership team through consistent follow through and urgency
- Respond to requests with urgency, which may occur outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Be in the office 5 days a week so that you can interface frequently with the team to solve problems and make things run smoother and faster.
- A desire and interest in gaining business experience by supporting an entrepreneurial CEO and VP, Editorial Director.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through; ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to learn new skills and processes quickly
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to keep trying when things get hard
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to positively represent the company brand to external parties
- Demonstrates the ability to build relationships with maturity, professionalism, directness and a sense of humor
