Technical Designer/Architectural Technologist (Corporate Workplace Interiors)

Clearspace

Full time Posted: 3 weeks ago Design and Multimedia

Hiring from: Canada

We’re looking for a Technical Designer or Architectural Technologist who lives for the details, the coordination, the satisfaction of a perfectly drafted drawing set. You’ll have your hands in both the work and the systems behind it: creating and managing our technical details and well as our CAD/Revit standards. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening our technical capabilities as we evolve from AutoCAD into Revit.

What you’ll do
  • Technical Design and Detailing: Collaborate with our designers, project managers, and construction leads to make sure the design intent is translated to our IFCs
  • Drawing reviews; Quality control on our drawings and details before they hit the site
  • Maintain and evolve our CAD and Revit templates, details, families, and best practices
  • Support evolution of our drawing standards including transfer of CAD standards into Revit
  • Support and mentor the design team technically — you’ll be the go-to for technical details, CAD/Revit questions and model troubleshooting
What you bring
  • 5–10 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Designer, ideally in corporate workplace or interior architecture
  • Proven experience overseeing and coordinating construction documentation at a high level
  • Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and applicable codes
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring and supporting others
  • Comfort balancing hands-on technical work with process improvement and oversight
Why this role matters
Design is only as good as the drawings that make it real. This role plays a critical part in improving technical quality, consistency, and coordination — helping ensure our designs are as strong in documentation as they are in concept and construction.

Why you’ll love working here
We’re a design-build firm that believes great design shouldn’t be out of reach. We value clarity, collaboration, and practical creativity. No ego, no fluff — just good work with good people.
This position is Hybrid (Toronto)

Let’s build together.
