Story Time Chess is the only company in the world that teaches children as young as 3 how to play chess, completely through fun and silly stories. No chess experience necessary. If you can tell a story, you can teach chess.
We're hiring a full-time Creative Kids Enrichment Tutor to lead classes in schools and community programs across the Orlando area. Story Time Chess Orlando launched in 2025 and has grown from zero to 40 schools in under a year, so you'd be joining a fast-growing team at the ground floor.
We currently have over 100 teachers and tutors teaching more than 15,000 children a week across New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orlando, and we're still growing fast.
About the Role
You'll use our proven curriculum, packed with stories, games, and puzzles, designed to make every lesson fun and engaging. The curriculum is fully built and ready to deliver, so you focus on the kids, not lesson planning. We set you up for success with paid training and ongoing support.
As a full-time team member, you'll also have the chance to grow with us. Strong tutors take on more responsibility over time, including mentoring newer tutors, leading demo classes, and building relationships with schools and families across Orlando.

Requirements
- Fun, animated, and great with children ages 3 to 8
- A natural storyteller with strong classroom presence
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about teaching
- Experience working with young children preferred
Salary Range
- $40,000 - $50,000
