Handyman / Maintenance Employee
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.
Salary: $24.51.
About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Employee to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure safety standards are met
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required
- Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
