- Manage time clock imports, timesheets, garnishments, and deductions
- Reconcile payroll, insurance, and 401(k) contributions
- Prepare W-2s, year-end filings, and certified payroll reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain employee payroll records new hires, terminations, changes and updates in payroll and benefits systems
- Process Union dues
- Maintain vacation accruals and prepare month-end journal entries
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Specialist
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll/accounting software
- Experience with multi-state payroll processes, tax compliance, garnishments, benefits deductions
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
