Food World Plus
Food World Plus is seeking a driven and experienced Grocery Wholesale Sales Representative with a strong background in B2B sales and restaurant accounts. This role is ideal for someone who understands the foodservice industry and has existing relationships with restaurants, caterers, and food businesses.
You will be responsible for growing our wholesale customer base, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and driving consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurant and wholesale customers
- Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities within the foodservice and grocery sectors
- Actively onboard new restaurant accounts and expand territory coverage
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct regular in-person client visits and product presentations
- Manage customer accounts, including order processing, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the restaurant industry
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Resolve customer issues and provide exceptional service
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Proven experience in B2B sales with restaurant or foodservice clients
- Strong network of restaurant, catering, or hospitality accounts is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven with a strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience is an asset (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Experience in food distribution, wholesale grocery, or FMCG industry
- Knowledge of local restaurant and wholesale markets
- Existing book of business or client relationships is a strong asset
- Combination of fieldwork (client visits) and office-based responsibilities
