The Order Picker is a key contributor to our warehouse team, responsible for accurately retrieving, assembling, and preparing customer orders for distribution. This role demands strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, physically active setting. A successful candidate supports efficient inventory movement, on-time shipments, and overall warehouse productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate RF scanners or handheld devices to identify, pick, and record inventory items.
  • Verify order details for accuracy, inspect products for damage, and package items for dispatch.
  • Keep inventory locations neat and systematically arranged to promote efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to achieve daily performance and output goals.
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory audits as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Immediately report stock inconsistencies or damaged merchandise.
  • Communicate clearly about order progress, shortages, or delays.
  • Follow established company policies and inventory control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team setting.
  • Basic numeracy skills for counting and order verification.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background screening.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Reliable attendance with flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience is considered an advantage.
  • Basic computer proficiency for scanning systems and order processing
