Head of Marketing (Sr. Director)

EPM is partnered with a growing, innovative biotech to hire the Head of Marketing for their cell & gene therapy portfolio. This individual plays the foundational role in building and developing the marketing function from the ground up in a commercial-stage environment. They will collaborate with executive stakeholders to develop and refine marketing strategies and build out a high-performing team in preparation for an exciting launch. This opportunity is located onsite near Rockville, Maryland (Greater DC). If you thrive in white space and are ready to lead the marketing strategy for an innovative asset, this is for you.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build the marketing function from the ground up, implementing your deep pharma marketing experience
- Create the GTM strategy alongside access, sales, and commercial operations teams
- Be part of a rapidly evolving cell & gene therapy landscape
- Grow a team underneath you that is focused on commercial excellence and rapid growth
Required experience:
- 10-12 years of progressive biopharma marketing experience
- Strong experience planning for both pre and post-commercial launch strategy
- Background in HCP, patient, brand, and payer marketing strategy
- Experience working in a small biotech environment strongly preferred
- Experience within C>, biologics, rare disease, or other complex therapies strongly preferred
