About the Opportunity

McQuaig is looking for a fully-remote, full-time Growth Account Executive preferably based in the Greater Toronto Area, ON (remote within Canada may be considered).


Reporting directly to the Head of Product and Customer Success, this sales hybrid role blends new business generation, the reactivation of lapsed accounts, and the strategic growth of an assigned client portfolio. You’ll focus primarily on the Canadian and US market.


More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Generating new business through disciplined outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion
  • Managing a portfolio of low-touch clients, identifying opportunities to grow usage and expand to subscriptions
  • Conducting discovery calls, product demos, and value-based sales conversations
  • Reactivating lapsed or lost accounts through targeted outreach
  • Driving adoption of McQuaig’s tools including assessments, TeamSync, and Maven AI
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline records and activity in HubSpot
  • Forecasting and reporting accurately to meet monthly sales targets
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Customer Success to support a full-funnel revenue strategy
  • Delivering consultative insights aligned with client hiring and talent development goals
  • Providing customer and market feedback to support continuous product improvement

About You

To qualify, you will need at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within HR Tech, SaaS, or talent assessment/learning tools. A proven track record in pipeline generation and closing deals in a consultative selling environment is essential.


Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

  • Experience with outbound prospecting and full-cycle sales
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
  • Organizational discipline and a self-starter mindset
  • Curiosity and interest in behavioural science and psychometrics
  • Technical fluency and confidence in learning new tools
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales enablement tools

About the Benefits

Compensation based on skills and experience offers a total on‑target earnings (OTE) range of $90,000 to $120,000 CAD, structured as follows:

  • Base salary: $70,000 to $90,000 CAD, based on skills and experience; PLUS
  • Variable commission: $20,000 to $30,000 CAD, earned through a combination of new business development and existing account growth
