Hundreds of thousands of patients across North America rely on our mobile app to chat with their care teams, review treatment plans, and manage appointments. As our lead iOS engineer, you’ll own the Swift codebase end-to-end; shaping everything from architecture decisions to the final polish that patients see every day.

Summary Of The Mobile Engineer, IOS

Responsibilities For The Mobile Engineer, IOS
- Design and ship new patient-facing features in our Swift-native iOS app
- Maintain a crash-free, high-performance codebase through refactors and performance tuning
- Automate testing (unit, snapshot, UI) and own our CI/CD pipeline for reliable releases
- Collaborate daily with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end value
- Drive architectural decisions, balancing speed and quality to deliver an optimal time-to-value
- Champion security, privacy, and accessibility best practices across the app
- 3+ years building production iOS apps in Swift
- Knowledge of the fundamentals: data structures, networking, memory management, UIKit/SwiftUI rendering, GCD/async code, and reactive programming with Combine
- Treat testing as a must-have – you write unit, snapshot, and UI tests and value CI/CD pipelines that catch issues early
- Enjoy iterating with small, cross-functional teams
- Care about security and privacy (HIPAA, TLS, Keychain, encryption at rest) and are comfortable working in a regulated domain
- Communicate clearly, give candid code reviews, and keep stakeholders in the loop
