Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for 1-2 Sr. Accountant/Financial Specialist - Bank Reconciliation/General Ledger (GL) to alleviate a backlog of bank reconciliations related to the implementation of a new ERP/business information system which will allow them to better manage finance, human resources, and supply chain management processes in the healthcare system.


Our client is ready to move on this quickly, with an early January 2026 start date! Remote candidates encouraged.



Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day functions within Finance

• Alleviate backlog of bank reconciliations

• Problem solve

• Technical Assistance

• Support junior team member as required


Qualifications:

• University Graduate in Business Administration or Commerce with an Accounting Major

• 3+ years of experience working for an enterprise size (1000+ employee) Canadian organization

• 5+ years of experience with bank reconciliations

• 5+ years of experience with General Ledger (GL)

• Advanced accounting knowledge

• A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is an asset

• Healthcare experience considered an asset


Note: this role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Canada so long as the candidate can work full-time hours and during our client's core hours .
