As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for creating high-quality top-of-funnel pipeline for our US sales team. This role is all about energy, consistency, curiosity, experimentation, and grit.
You’ll spend your days researching accounts, prospecting, running multi-channel outreach, testing angles, refining messaging, and booking meetings that lead directly to revenue.

You’ll work closely with AEs, marketing, and product teams, and you will directly influence Unibuddy’s success in the US.
What Success Looks Like (12 Months):Consistently hitting weekly meeting targets and monthly SAO goals
Generating strong, high-quality outbound pipeline across priority accounts
Maintaining high activity levels with strong conversion and show rates
Reaching full productivity within 3 months through rapid learning and iterationDemonstrating discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement in outreach quality and performance
What you’ll be doing:
Pipeline Generation
Source, identify, and prioritise accounts that fit our ICP
Run structured outbound sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn
Build high-quality first conversations and book qualified meetings
Maintain high output while preserving quality and personalisation
Experiments & Messaging
Test new outreach angles weekly and refine based on data
Partner with AEs on personalised account strategies
Work with marketing to improve messaging and outbound performance
Contribute ideas, voice insights, and help shape the outbound engine
Process, Data & Discipline
Maintain excellent CRM hygiene (notes, next steps, status)
Track daily activity and performance metrics with precision
Hold yourself accountable to your scoreboard
Adopt our outbound processes - and help make them even better
Must-Have Experience
Prior SDR experience OR another outbound-heavy, target-driven role
Strong cold calling experience - comfortable making 70+ dials/day
Demonstrated independence and ability to self-manage
High ambition, hunger, and desire to grow quickly
Nice-to-Have
Experience working in a university admissions office (student worker, ambassador, call centre, etc.)
Interest in higher education or the Unibuddy mission
Experience with HubSpot, Outreach, or similar tools
Competitive base salary with OTE
